What these terms cover
They govern your use of this website. They do not govern our services. If you become a member or hire us for work, that relationship is governed by a separate written agreement, and that agreement controls if the two ever conflict.
The content here is informational
We write about short-term rental permits, property maintenance, wildfire preparation and insurance topics because owners ask us about them. None of it is legal, insurance, financial, permitting or other licensed professional advice, and reading it does not create any professional or local-contact relationship with us. Permit and licensing rules vary by jurisdiction and change without notice. Verify anything that matters with the town, county or professional who has authority over it.
No guarantee of accuracy
We make a genuine effort to keep this site correct and current. We do not warrant that everything here is accurate, complete or up to date, and we are not liable for decisions made in reliance on it.
Our material
The text, photographs, graphics and layout on this site belong to us. You are welcome to read, print and share pages for your own use. Republishing our content elsewhere, in whole or in part, requires our written permission.
Third-party links
We link to town and county websites, fire districts and other outside resources. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content.
Client portal
Members access their account through a third-party service hosted elsewhere. Use of that portal is governed by its own terms, not these.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when they last changed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
