Troubleshooting

Something isn’t working—or you’re out of town and not sure which trade you need. We look, document what we find and help decide the next step.

Finished bathroom with new shower doors and fixtures at a Grand County property.

A real project

The shower that did not need replacing

The owner asked us to replace the primary shower before the house went into short-term rental use. The shower itself was fine. The doors, fixtures and buildup were making the whole bathroom look tired.

We replaced the doors and fixtures and deep-cleaned the surround. The room looked renewed without a full replacement.

Sometimes the right project is a smaller project.

Permits and licensed trades

Need a permit or a licensed trade? We can help with that.

Electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, roofing and gas line work goes to a licensed trade. We coordinate that work.

When a job may need a building permit, we can check with the local building department, line up the right trade and meet them at the property. If a job is outside what we do, we will tell you and refer you to someone we have worked with before.

  • Trades we already know
  • Troubleshooting before the trade arrives
  • Permit questions checked with the building department
  • Someone local to meet the trade

For owners who are not here

You do not have to be here to keep a project moving.

We can be the person on site while the work happens.

  • We meet trades at the property and let them in with your approval.
  • We photograph conditions before work starts and as it moves along.
  • We receive and check materials when they arrive.
  • We follow up on punch-list items.

Project coordination is scoped and priced separately from handyman labor.
